Working = Sick, Tired, Stress

Very tired now…. Just wanna express out everything. Today is my first day to work full shift in Hans Café but unluckily I am not feeling well these few days. Since I haven’t been working for the last 2 weeks, so ok I just go for it. Thought that I will be better today. Work from 12pm to 9.30pm with 3 hours break from 2pm to 5pm. Total of 6.5 hours. I feel SOooo Stresss….working there. My sickness worsens after I ate the free meal garlic chicken rice and started to feel dizzy. I know every staff in Hans must work very fast but I couldn’t. I feel too dizzy to walk fast and when I tried to do so I will feel like want to vomit. But still, I tried my best to work. Tried to carry more plates and glass at once..hoping them to see my effort though I couldn’t work fast.

There were hell lot of customer tonight, a lot more than the usual Thursday night. For reader’s information, today is Carousel night so it will be opened till 9pm instead of the usual time 5pm. So Hans (located in Carousel Mall) will always be packed with people that day. Because I was sick, I couldn’t help myself to do fast…too dizzy.. T.T The team leader and the managers kept on advising me to do faster. I know I was slow..but…I tired my best. I felt so dehydrated while working. I need water T.T.

The worst part is when the manager yelled at me thinking that I heard the wrong table number. It Was Not My Fault!!! Either it was him who told me the wrong number or I heard the wrong number BUT I DID DOUBLE CONFIRM WITH HIM!!! I repeated the number and he replied me“YA”. Then ended up it was the wrong table number and kenak him yelled to me the correct number. I was startled awhile….then quickly turned to serve the food. I felt so embarrassing…being yelled like that and yet not my fault. =( what to do??

Endurance is all I need. After that, I need to keep on forcing myself to concentrate working. So tired, don’t how to explain my exhaustion, tired from top to bottom. I feel that I am so useless…

Well, the word “Tough” is what I bear in mind. Be tough Emelyne.

The Asian Biggest Clubbing ~ Cocktail night

Went for Perth’s cocktail night at metro city North Bridge last Friday night, which I'd been looking forward for a long long time!! xD Went there together with a few girls, Jeanette, Janet (unexpected), Pit and Pit’s cousin Jezz. Refer to the photo below.

We departed from Pit’s house and reached there around 11.30pm which was kindda behind the schedule because of me and Jeanette…Pai Seh! (Was up to something) We need to queue up twice!! *Swt* First, for the ticket entry then the cloak room to put our jackets…=.= ( it was bloody cold queuing outside @.@)

Then finally we were ready to hit the bar with the 2 free drink coupons given to every entrant. So, yeh, I drank vodka lemonade and Vodka coke, couldn’t wait to join the crowd on the dance floor =p. However, I have no sense of tipsiness after the drinks….sien.

Me and a friend I met

While dancing on the dance floor, there was a fight occurred somewhere near us. Couldn’t really see it but I heard it’s a fight between ang mo and asian dude. Probably because of some chicks? No idea.. I was kindda worried that the fight will cause impact to the crowd and make us all fall apart as we were squeezed like a sandwich in the middle of the crowd. (Which I don’t really enjoy it). But, luckily there were 5 security guards there to pull them away. Then just 2 second after the case everyone turned back to the clubbing atmosphere…I was like huh?? Mood was sort of spoilt already. Hai ya…but then seeing many chicks around still can dance like there was nothing happen..so…ok lor…DANCE!!! Who cares? Haha! Oh well, I was glad that this case did not scare Janet off because she was a virgin to clubbing before that! Haha! =p

There’s something I must say out here. Some chicks were dancing as if she owned the whole dance floor. For god sake, please look around you!! There are many people around you ok? I was stepped by some girls on my feet. That was not the worst part. The worst part is, one of the girl stepped on my right shoes and cause a small hole on it…T.T It HURTSssssssssssssssss…… pity my toe inside. I stopped dancing of cause to let my pity toe rest for a while. *kek sim*

Few performances taken place that night. The Ang Mo performance was like swinging in the air by just using the robes/robe or cloth (don’t know what they call it). Pretty cool! ~ No photos of it…too bad. As for the Asians, they performed Hip Hop dance. So so nia la… Hehe.

Oh well, I had 2 more drinks after that. I bought myself a shot of tequila (very small glass -.-) which cost me $8. It was pretty funny drinking that liquor as we needa suck some salt applied on our hand then drink 1 shot at once straight after the salt, and then bite the lemon given. What the heck? I can feel my inner body burnt…BUT STILL NOT TISPY!!! Don’t know what happened to me. Feel like wasting my money nia..sigh~ Anyhow, I got another free drink from a new friend. Thanks a lot! Though still..don't want to say again...

Flying Kiss by Me ^^

There were less people in the pub around 4am as many had left. This was a good chance to dance on the dance floor!! Hiak hiak! I persuaded Jeanette to accompany me dancing since the other girls complain their feet hurts. (Though mine hurt too ~.~) But I don’t care! I wanna enjoy dancing!! There were still many people dancing but not as crowded as before where we need to squeeze like a sandwich. I enjoyed the dance and the music soooo much! I love "Because of you" from ne-yo ( so relaxing), "Beautiful girl from Sean Kingston" (feel so happy listening to this song) xD ...etc...

Here's the 2 songs:

Because of U-Ne-Yo

Beautiful Girl-Sean Kingston

Besides that, met some friends from curtin. Aaron who suddenly grabbed my hand (thought was Andrew at first lol) then Andrew (business capstone group member) and the girl in the pic above. Really surprise to meet Aaron there... hehe =p

Furthermore, I danced with a hot babe (no idea who is it =x) who came approached us....wow 1 to 1 me and her. It was some sort of dance (not sure what they call this dance), where we put one leg in between the partner's legs and dance by slightly lowering our body down. Rather slutty though =x I think those who club should know. It was pretty fun though *winkz*
At the end, we left at 5am…bye bye to metro city…

A sudden undesirable thought

Oh Noo….the thought of failing Finance Corporate suddenly came into my mind when I was half way dreaming… I don’t want to fail any units for the first time and in this last sem!! NO WAY! I think I must wake up now. Enough slacking and being lazy all the time!! I did not do well in my mini test as well as my mid term test, very very sad…Anyhow, no use crying over spilt milk! T.T But I must start to brush up everything and be prepared for final! What if I failed? I will cry like a big baby! No No No! I have other better plans than repeating units that I fail after completing this sem!!!

Better start study now. No regrets...Ciao~

The First Party Night I Had in Perth

HAHA! The first party night in Perth! Thanks Xian Xian for persuading me to join them. If not for her I won't be able to enjoy such a crazy night. Well, actually it's a karaoke, FREE one. Hiak Hiak. Utopia is where most Asians in Perth love to go for karaoke, bubble milk tea (me ^ ^) and vegetarian food. One of my housemates (Hui Yi) works there and some other friends ( xian xian and Tessa) are the ex staffs. So because of these connections, I was invited to join the new branch celebration where staffs can bring along their friends to this FREE Karaoke! So yeh, met up some cool new friends (mostly are the staffs). New people that I met are from different places.

They are:
Danny and Lear (a very pretty and hyperactive girl) from China, Sean from Melaka, Jungle (no idea why he has this name) from Hong Kong, two other girls (Jungle’s friends I think) from Taiwan, Freddie the manager from Indo and Freddie’s gf from Brunei, etc…

At first I was pretty bored there doing nothing but listening to the others singing. Then the manager, Freddie (very humorous guy) came to play some games with me….loser drink beer. *swt* The game is I mustn’t turn my head to the direction he points to. So, who ask me so stupiakk…keep on turning my head according to his finger’s direction. =.= I don’t like to drink beer actually T.T but since there’s no liquor that night, drinkkkk loo…what to do?? After that, I played more games with the others, the McD game (funny actions needed), the dice game and truth or dare (this is when I kissed with Lear and one of the Taiwanese girl =x). ** I will try to remember all these games and bring it back to Malaysia to play with my party friends *wink wink*

The peak time started when HOT music is played! Oh No…everyone just jumped up and danced the whole night in the room! Can you imagine that? Everyone was turning wild and crazy dancing, singing and spinning (especially Lear) LOL! Also, Danny performed his break dance which is super cool! Wow! I enjoy watching guys doing break dance *hiak hiak*. Too bad no one brings camera so…no photos taken. =(

All in all, it’s the happiest night for me in Perth as it has been a long time since my last crazy time with friends back in Malaysia. Miss you guys LOTS!! xD

Back to when I just came to Perth

Still remember how it was like when I just came to Perth. Thanks for Colin and Patrick, and Voon’s family (dad’s friends). They helped me a lot =). When I just moved into the house which I’m staying now, there was no internet connection. So you can imagine my life without internet... it was like hell. But drama did help a lot, helped to kill my boredom and loneliness. Well, during those days I did write a dairy of my life here, so I’ll just post some below here to let you guys read.

Here it goes…

24 July 2007

Today is the 6th day of my stay in Perth. After since I moved out from Voon’s family house (papa’s friend), I really miss them lots! Been staying in their house for five nights and over those days they really take good care of me. Really appreciate it. Aunt Su Yin always ensures I wear and eat enough to be healthy as a uni student. Andrew accompanied me chit chatting and showed me his favorite Korean MTVs, some interesting short clips and movies to keep me away from boredom. And, he also brought me to Fitness First where I first step into a gym! It’s so cool there with a wide range of equipments and rides!! Best for gym lovers! Kind of miss his companion ;-) Having breakfast, lunch and dinner together with the family is so much better than having meals ALONE in the dinning room and eating food I prepare myself really sux now. How pathetic. =( Anyhow, I am trying my best to be independent as I promised to dad.

Well, my day started off from the trip to harbour town and city with Colin, Jackson and Benny. I took a bus from the near by bus stop to curtin’s bus station to meet them up. I should have walked there because it will just take me 15 mins to reach curtin bus station, but, hehe…I prefer a faster way! Lazy me! =p From there we headed to the train station for Perth city and traveled with the yellow cat which is FREE to harbour town and city for SHOPPING!!! HAHA! Having the smart rider card really ease me a lot! I will just need to tag on and off for the ride! Erm, bought some clothes…cheap ones with offer since I don’t have much cash on hand. And, four of us had our contented lunch at Simuku, a jap restaurant at harbour town. I ordered a set of teriyaki beef meal which cost me aus$ 7.90. Always bear in mind, never convert the money or else I will never get to eat or buy anything! >.< No regrets, the food taste nice! ^ ^. Oh ya! I will definitely return to Roxy shop one day for the surfing pants!! It’s much cheaper. Aus$49.90. Hehehe! Love it! After back from shopping, my day started to become dull and bad. Sigh… Firstly, I forgot to wash the cabbage before I put on curry which I jus heated. Secondly, my laundry…all my clothes got blue =( especially the white Ts!! ArgH!! Now soaking with detergent in hope for some recovery. Then I accidentally dropped and broke my hair clip while I was about to do hair treatment! Can’t stand my grassy hair!! Stupid hair dresser who spoilt it!! Never ever go to that Saloon anymore! Hrmp!~ Lastly, I knocked my head when I was trying to fix the broken part in the fridge! Spending half of the day alone without internet connection really pulls me deep down to earth. I am just too scare of loneliness. T.T 6 August 2007 It has been 2 weeks plus since I came to Perth. My relationship with housemates is getting better and better over the time, I am glad about it. =) However, I still miss people I am close to, my parents, SY and others… I wish to hear papa and mama’s voice. Miss them so much. My life is so bored, I do not have many friends here…I am sad, down, lonely most of the time.

That’s all about my life when I just stepped into this Country. HaHa! I’ve deleted some because it’s confidential! Hiak hiak =p

Everything is about MONEY

Recently I got hell lot of things in mind to spend. Since I don't work as much as I expected I should sacrifice some of them. *sad* I guess I'm just one typical playful girl, so obsess in shopping and girls stuff and now I have many many things that I want badly. It's not a bad thing actually, ONLY if I'm rich enough to spend in such a way. hehe.. *dreaming*.

I'm looking forward for the cocktail night this Friday night! Can't wait any longer! HaHa. Planned to buy a dress for the cocktail night, but I think I will need to list it under my sacrifice list...unwillingly =.= Most of the dresses that I saw and like are over my budget ($100) so...suan le ba. Somemore, I need to pay for the admission fees of $25 to enter the party!

Besides the cocktail night expense, I'm still considering whether to go to Perth Royal show which need an admission fee of $20+. *peng*. Actually, I don't plan to go but then many friends encouraged me to pay a visit since I already came all the way to Perth. I know I will spend more than the admission fee...the show bag stuffs will say "BuyMe!" to me. =.=''.

Also, I'm thinking whether to follow my housemates to Melbourne since we have free stay at Tessa's place. BUT, money money money! Going there will need a return air fare of $300+. So you see.... headache again.

Other than that, I've been thinking of saving money to buy myself a digital camera, I found it very useful here. So, do you think I can make it? haha! Or put it under my sacrifice list? LOL.

What else, oh yeah... I wanna buy myself a perfume, suddenly got so obsess with perfume after I came to Perth. I think I played too much perfume at Myer till I got addicted to it xD. Must really get 1 liaw! hehe!

Another thing I want badly, is Lancome foundation which costs $XX. Better don't mention. hehe...Anyway, I still reckon it's preferable to buy a better quality facial cosmetic product. ;) ...

And And... Roxy surfing pants which I've been longing to own one xD It's worth it to get 1 here because it's much more cheaper than in Malaysia.

So, this is basically my financial dilemma. Thanks for reading my money dilemma. HaHa! ( I hope dad won't read this =p)
